Project Brief
Dana Street Dental involved the considered expansion of an existing, fully operational dental practice. The brief required additional clinical capacity while maintaining uninterrupted operation throughout construction. A key objective was to integrate the new extension seamlessly with the existing building, preserving its external appearance while enhancing internal functionality and patient experience.
BuildMarque was engaged to deliver the interior design and construction of the new spaces, working in close collaboration with the project architect and builder to ensure a cohesive and well-coordinated outcome.

The project comprised the construction of a new extension and the interior fitout of the expanded practice areas, delivered through carefully staged works to minimise disruption to staff and patients.
Design & Delivery Considerations
Maintaining continuous operation of the practice was a critical project constraint. To facilitate the extension works, the existing plant room was temporarily relocated to a purpose-built portable container, ensuring uninterrupted operation of suction systems and compressors throughout construction.
Construction staging and services coordination were carefully managed to maintain safety, infection control, and patient comfort while the new spaces were delivered.

- Plant Room: Purpose-designed to accommodate upgraded services while ensuring long-term operational reliability.
- Accessibility: A fully compliant disabled toilet integrated discreetly into the extension.
